Definition:  A device which includes a turbine, governor, speedsensing device, and a gear box. Its power source is ram air. It is designed to produce a predetermined output shaft speed to operate a hydraulic pump and/or an electric generator drive, which furnishes emergency power to aircraft in case of hydraulic and/or electrical system failure.
