Definition:  An adapter that provides mechanical mounting provisions for connecting a missile guidance section, altimeter, umbilical assembly, propulsion module, antennas, propulsion interface assembly, strake assemblies, adapter harness assembly, flight test configuration hardware, and conduit assembly to a warhead or airfoil section.
