Definition: An item which is a component part of a compression dressing system. It includes three basic parts: cuff-to cover the injured thigh area with pressurized ice water; cooler-to hold enough water and ice for 6 to 8 hours of cryotherapy; and tube-to exchange the water between cooler and cuff.
