Definition:  A straight handled, electric powered reciprocating saw of pencil like design, for use in performing small bone procedures during limited access and visibility situations. Item is interchangeable and compatible for use with motor, surgical handpiece, footswitch, power supply, console, electrosurgical instruments. It may have a knurled metal spring lock mechanism at the distal end for allowing insertion and removal of blades and rasps without the aid of tools. Item can be sterilized by gas or steam.
