Definition:  A trailer mounted item designed to filter out solid material contaminants and separate water from liquid fuels. It consists primarily of a tank with a removable head, inlet and outlet connections, filtering elements, water separating media, water accumulator sump(s), necessary flow controls, gages, and accessories.
