Definition:  A variable speed saw designed for cutting off metal bars and shapes by means of a BLADE, BAND SAW which is revolved or rotated around a driver and idler wheel. It is normally secured to a floor, bench, stanchion, and the like, or it may be held firmly in position by its weight.
